There are approximately 95,000 veterans in Franklin County. Some are homeless, many are not. One common fact — many need help in one way or another. The Columbus Veterans Beneficial Board was established to come to their aid.

At all levels, the needs of our veterans here at home are great. Each year, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides services to homeless veterans at “Stand Downs” across the country.

The Board is a 501-C3 organization founded by Steve Miller and dedicated to serving the needs of the local veterans. Money has been used to fund various homeless programs and to make contributions to area Veteran’s hospitals.
